Preakness Stakes 2017 is Saturday, May 20. The race is the middle jewel of the Triple Crown,falling in between the Kentucky Derby and the Belmont Stakes, and is run at 13/16 miles for three-year-olds. The Grade 1 classic race will be a much tougher test than theIllinois Derby.
